Students with Special Needs
Students with Special Needs: Please inform me during the first week of classes about any disability or special needs that may require specific arrangements related to attending class sessions, carrying out class assignments, or writing papers or examinations. According to California State University policy, students with disabilities must document their disabilities at the Disability Support Services (DSS) Office in order to be accommodated in their courses. Additional information can be found at the DSS website (http://www.fullerton.edu/dss) or by calling 657-278-3112 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Many of us learn in different ways, and this course is designed accommodate each student differently. For example, you may prefer to process information by speaking and listening, so while lectures are quite helpful for you, some of the written material may be difficult to absorb. Please talk to me as soon as you can about your individual learning needs and how this course can best accommodate them. If you do not have a documented disability, remember that other support services, including the Writing Center and the University Learning Center are available to all students. (see below for info on these centers)
