-Co-creation of class frameworks and goals<\/p>\n
-Big picture – putting energy towards group projects<\/p>\n
-Students shaping the course<\/p>\n
-Accountability to stay engaged<\/p>\n
-Do contracts make this work?<\/p>\n
-Does physical interaction matter<\/p>\n
-Working towards a common goal<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
For me, there are some big takeaways here:<\/p>\n

- There is an interest in some kind of concrete, real-world project.<\/li>\n
- There is an interest in emphasizing classroom engagement – which will lead me to ask of you all: what is going to help you be most engaged in the classroom?\u00a0 Do you want pre-circulated discussion questions?\u00a0 Some free-writing time at the start of each class?\u00a0 Something else?<\/li>\n
- There is an interest in concrete goals\/outcomes\/expectations.\u00a0 This will be most important for coming up with the rules and format for blog posts and assignments.<\/li>\n
- There is an interest in student participation in shaping the course.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
