In 1200-1700 words (roughly 5-7 pages, double spaced) contextualize an “artifact” that exemplifies some intersection of gender and technology in terms of the theory we have covered in this class.<\/p>\n
These contextualizations should:<\/p>\n

Clearly articulate the cultural and historical significance of the artifact (this can include the chronology, maker, and\/or other things like it).<\/li>\n
Explain the artifact’s historical context.<\/li>\n
Make some kind of historical argument about the artifact (see the list of historical questions here<\/a>).<\/li>\n
